TomTom is really getting hit from all sides lately. I was on a market site tonight and there were a lot of links to articles about the financial problems they are having.

As I recall the reason TomTom had to pay so much for Tele-Atlas was that Garmin bid for it (not actually ever really planning on switching to Tele-Atlas, just trying to make it expensive for TomTom).
Now Microsoft suing TomTom, Time for the conspiracy theorists to chime in.
