Had a great Valentines day and the weather cooperated for working outdoors in the yard.

Valentine's Day has come and gone. My girlfriend of 20 year's is still with me. Tomorrow will be our 19th anniversary. Not a milestone, but she still puts up with me and my antics. Gotta love her for that alone.

Sounds like a Henny Youngman bit: I took my wife to Dallas for our 15th wedding anniversary. This year I might go get her and bring her back. (yes, I'm too young to remember him, but I still like his humor.)

My brain is fried.

Just got Lasik surgery this past Friday; and I tell you I am seeing better now than I did with glasses. Its like seeing the world in HD!!!!

We lost power for 4 days. A bad wind storm and trees took out the power lines and poles. Glad to get power back on.

Weather looks good out here in NM should be able to get outside and play a bit.

Australia is a big place so this has happened a long way from where I live.

There are places in Northern Australia who also have a rain problem - 60% of Queensland has flooding - but that is not all that has been going on in Aus.

Please spare a thought for the people in Victoria in southern Australia who have faced (and still face) a serious fire situation. In case you missed it - on 8/9 February one of the most extreme fire events that anyone will ever want to see resulted in more than 200 deaths (and we still do not know the exact number).

Just for a change there are firefighters from the USA helping our people (rather than ours helping them). Great stuff yanks!

Sick again. Third day in a row. Hate using my vacation days this way.

Sorry to hear that. The family has been battling something for a week now.

I feel for you. I'm not sick, but I get to blow a half day of vacation today waiting for an appliance repairman to come look at our dryer. We just bought it last month so its under warranty at least.

I sure hope you feel better soon, there is are two bad bugs making their way around. seems like a very bad cold (rhino virus) and a very bad case of the flu(Influenza A (H1) virus)are circulating.

Even with a flu shot, it looks like they missed the proper strain, Ohio is entering epidemic stages.

I had it for like 3 weeks. Just a cold but it was nasty.

I had the day of on Monday but it rained like cats and dogs most of the day. What a disappointment.

If you use internet or Msn explorer and want spell check to use for your poifactory posts go to http://www.ieaddons.com/en/toolbars/?index=12&sort=Views&lan... and select ieSpell.After installing just right click with mouse and select spell check after you complete your typing.

Ken, you and Gary need to get rid of the wrenches and go over to the blue oval. LOL

Now it's not only a beautiful day in Ol' Silver Lake, I also have spell check on IE.... So if I use IE instead of firefox I still have spell chek....

Thanks for the link charlesd45, but I feel I need to warn the people on this board of the dangers of using Internet Explorer. IE is the target of many hackers and companies using ActiveX and other security holes to distribute malware. I only use IE in the rare cases that the page won't display properly (usually a Microsoft page). I heartily recommend that people use Firefox which is great or another browser besides IE.

I use msn explorer and internet explorer with Iespell.Have never had a problem.But I do make sure I have the latest windows critical updates,good antivirus and a good spyware program.

I use firefox. There are a lot of people out there that create problems with all microsoft products.

I have gotten a bit behind this week and just wanted to let everyone know that I will be catching up this weekend. If you have sent me an email or uploaded a file in the last few days, please accept this apology for it not getting taken care of yet.

I plan to be fully caught up by Sunday evening.
