Garmin Beanbag at Circuit City

If anyone is looking for the Garmin beanbag, try your local Circuit City. I was just there and they had them at 50% off (so, $20). Great deal if you are looking for one.

Sucks....

That's a great price, but unfortunately we don't have a CC around here at all. I'll probably have to get one at Amazon for around $26.

$20 is a good price

Worth $20 and a stop by the CC Liquidation Sale if you are in the area (and it's not crowded). Otherwise, ordering from Amazon is about the easiest/most convenient.

great price

that is just a little better than Amazon..regular price, they have them for about 25. Watch CC they have been marking things way up..then making them 40% off..Some things are still cheaper on Amazon..or Best Buy.

Liquidation sales are a SCAM

This is a common liquidator practice. They also bring in new items for "liquidation" that the original retailer never sold in the first place. The Seattle news did a story on this when Linens & Things started closing some stores in this area. In fact, some of the items were marked up so high that when they marked them "down" again the prices were actually higher than the original price. And the liquidators were too stupid to remove the old sticker, so the reporter just peeled up the new one to find the older, cheaper price.

Liquidation sales are a SCAM.

$13.99

Don't know if we are allowed to post a link so won't but got my bean bag at Costco when I bought the 750. It's $13.99 but believe it can only be bought on line.

where?

Where? I don't see any Garmin mounts / bean bags online at CostCo.

Costco on line has a bean

Costco on line has a bean bag (friction mount) for sale but it is generic, (universal) not Garmin. I bought one myself and they are great and as stated, cheap, $13.99.

generic

Didn't realize it was generic, should have known since it was from Costco but works fine so far. Take my gps from car to car and to my boat with the bean bag.

Was at my local Circuit City today...

Was checking to see if they had a converter box my wife was interested in..(They didn't) I checked on the bean bag while I was there, it was $23.99 plus tax...

We got ours

for $20 at Wal-Mart several months ago. That was the everyday price then, no sure what the price is now.

Walmart

The mount is selling for $28.54 at walmart.com. Supposedly the same instore.

Garmin beanbag mount

I was looking for a new gps this morning and saw the beanbag dash mount for $18 on Amazon.com. Trouble was that the seller wanted $12 to ship it!

Just figured I let you know there are better deals but you have to watch the details.

The idea of having to post a subject field for a reply is stupid

Make sure that if you're getting the bean bag, you get one that comes with the ball and arm.

I bought mine from Amazon 2 months ago for $24.
