Hot Springs poi is called Thermal Springs

Does anybody know of a poi file listing all the hot springs ... both developed or just a bubbling pool of hot water, in which I can soak my aging body?

Does such an poi file exist? I've searched here (found a couple of states, but no national file) and other places to no avail.

EDIT...found it ... it's here called Thermal Springs.

Thermal Springs vs Hot Springs

I have some friends in the Environment Canada, and they tend to identify "thermal springs" as the point where the hot water bubbles out of the ground and "hot springs" as the developed operations that use the hot water. Commercial hot spings are required to treat the water to make it safe - this usually involves filtration to remove harmful contaminants, disinfection to kill any germs present, and to control of the water temperature.

I know of a number of natural "thermal springs" in the Rockies of Alberta and BC, but they tend to be somewhat remote. You REALLY have to want to go to them! Because they are in hard rock formations they tend to be high in minerals (calcium, magnesium, etc.) and sulphur, so they often have an odour. Finally, only a few that I have visited are maintained by users... wild animals like to bask in the heated air around the springs, which means that you have to watch where you step and be on the lookout for predators.

As I am in my mid-fifties I'm no longer inclined to go hiking up the mountainside, looking out for bears and cougars, and skinny dipping in water that could be cold, warm, hot or VERY hot. It may not be as "natural", but I prefer the commercial hot springs.
