is the a charge for download files of red lights cameras!?
how much if there is any!?

100 cameras

NYC just got approval to increase the number of red light cameras in use to 100. Previously they had only 50 working at a time. While the actual number was more than 50, only 50 were allowed to be on at one time. This means that even though an intesection may have a red light camera, it isn't necessarily on. The city rotates which ones are in use so there are no more than 50 at a time. This number will soon be increased to 100.

Brooklyn alone has over 107

Brooklyn alone has over 107 cameras installed. Manhattan over 71, Bronx over 63, Queens over 109, with more on the way.

From a simple search: 24

Dear jfried,

I would deeply appreciate finding out where to look to learn about the ones that are on the way so that we can confirm the new locations for Miss POI.

Hi borissh86,

You've been a member of the poi-factory for 19 months. Don't you think it's about time, you read the faq's and familiarized yourself with the site?

That being said, here's the answer to your question...

As an active member, you may download the red light cameras file for free. Thank you for participating on the site!

Becoming an active member is completely free.

You automatically become an active member when you've made posts in at least 3 of the last 5 weeks. Activity includes uploading POI files and/or posting in the discussion forums.

The weekly posting periods run Monday through Sunday (Eastern timezone). Active member status is updated once each week (on Monday mornings).

If timing of your first post is lucky (Saturday or early Sunday), you can become an active user in just a little more than 2 weeks.

If you're not an active member, you can purchase the "Red Light & Speed Cameras file, for $5. You'll have to contact Miss POI through this link:

Regards,

Tailspin
