Glitch in displaying custom POI on Garmin nuvi 750

Created my first set of custom POIs with custom icons for my new Garmin 750. As this was the first time out, I put in only 17 custom POIs. They appear in the right places, with the right icon, but there is a peculiar glitch:

Only 16 POIs show on the map, and only 16 are listed in the "Custom POIs" portion of the menu. But they are not the same 16.

On the map, the "first" (as it appears in my .csv file)custom POI is missing. It does show on the menu, but on the menu, the "last" custom POI is not listed, but the last one does show on the map.

Anyone have a clue on why this is? Call to Garmin next...

There is something wrong with your file; that is not an issue for Garmin Tech Suppt. Have you looked at those locations with GeePeeEx Editor?

Well, yes, I rather assumed there might be some issue something wrong with the file, specifically the start and end of it. Since it is produced with the Garmin POI loader, successfully according to the loader wizard, perhaps they might have a suggestion. We'll see what my email brings.

No I haven't downloaded GeePeeX editor yet. Not sure what I would be looking for if I did. All the locations were collected with this same nuvi 750 -- I drove to each location, saved it, extracted the lat/lon from the current.gpx file, formatted it in Excel, saved as a .csv, paired it with an icon, and used Garmin POI loader to push it to the 750.

I was hoping someone had run across this specific oddity before and had already figured it out, before I have to break out the (metaphorically speaking) wrenches and hammers and tear into myself.

Phil has a free trial version. Just load the file and look at the questionable locations.
