Once again, the search function on this site has failed to produce any useful info. Sigh...
So I apologize ahead of time if this has been covered many times. I am looking for a general-purpose "barbecue/BBQ" icon. Failing to find one here, I found a simple (recognizable at 22X22, I hope) JPG of a pig. But I can't figure out how to produce a BMP of the proper size.
Thanks in advance for heading me in the proper direction.

I use a freeware program "Paint.net" to do my conversions. It also allows you to resize and crop an image as well as save it in several formats.

Most graphic editing software will let you do a "save as" . Saving you Jpg as a Bmp ot a Gif or whatever you need.
What you really want is a Icon making program to accomplish the best you can at these very small pixel sizes.

Paint
If you have a PC you can use Paint which is a default program under Accessories. Select File/Save As to convert the jpg to bmp, and select Image/Attributes to change the size.
irfanview
.....Thanks in advance for heading me in the proper direction.
A fantastic completely free image viewer with limited editing capability is irfanview from www.irfanview.com . It's long been able to crop, resize, change file type, and adjust brightness, contrast, gamma and so on. Recent versions include a simple paint tool kit. This is one of the first applications that I put on every system that I set up. Support for a very large number of graphic formats. Extremely handy, I can't recommend it enough. I always make it my default program for opening image files. Be sure to install the extra plug-ins for support for the widest number of formats.
Another tool worth mention is Gimp. This is a powerful graphics editor. It's usually found in the Linux community but there is a Windows port available. This thing is powerful, it's often compared to Photoshop (although if price is no object I like Photoshop more). Can be a bit tricky to use and the UI breaks some Windows "standards", but it will do pretty much anything you could imagine in an image processing program and more.
BBQ icon
Here is a link to a BBQ that you may find useful. You may want to change the background color.

Thanx! Still fiddling with my pig, because some people believe barbecue can be something other than pork.

Pig icon
I have a pig icon. I use it for BBQ places. I thought it came from this site, but I may have created it. I'll send it in to be posted.
EDIT: Email having issues. Until I mail it in, you can get it from here:
