Will a Nuvi 360 accept Nuvi 760 software

Will a Nuvi 360 accept software from another Garmin or is the software interchangable between units? Has anyone ever tried copying software from one unit to another?

My Nuvi 360 software does not support routes and higher versions do. Can I copy the sofware from one unit to another since they are like mini computers, like changing versions of Windows on a computer?

No. And trying to manually do so, will likely result in bricking the unit.
