Some things to think about

Hmmm... not sure.

It doesn't seem to like the new battery, does it? Or maybe it doesn't like your charger. Are you *sure* both are correct for the 2595LMT and the AC outlet or car port is good? How long has it sat that way, with no sign of charging?

Usually a question mark at the top means the Garmin can't find a satellite to link into. Sometimes when it sits outside for a few minutes, of course, it finds the bird and the question mark goes away.

And the battery stays red if it doesn't think it's charging. If an incorrect charger is plugged in, or if the charger is not receiving power, the battery will stay red. A bad charging port on the Garmin end will also cause the battery icon to stay red.

Sound like there is an issue..

with the battery or the unit itself. I saw several references to non-garmin items where this happened and it was the device that was fried. Maybe verify the battery polarity is/was correct and try again. You also might try a hard reset. Details can be found here. Good luck.

Maybe you forgot to plug the battery cable into the circuitboard socket?

Probably not a problem

I have seen this on my 2460LMT and it went away after some period of time.

If you continue to see it after an hour or so then post back.
