Hmmm - Norton....

You wouldn't happen to hang around with a bus driver would you?

(Now I wonder how many understand the reference.)

You mean, are OLD enough to understand the reference. Well, count me as 1. "To the moon, Alice."

One of these days Alice! One of these days! Pow, right in the kisser!

Thanks for all the nice replies. I'm having fun using my 660 in a familiar area and seeing how it works (i.e. building trust in it) before venturing into the unknown. Looking forward to the 5 week thing so I can download the speed and camera files.

Another new member here...

...and first time GPS owner

not only is this the best site I have found for assistance, and having fun with my new nuvi 765T, but I think this is the best organized, and best run site of ANY kind I have found in a long, long time.

you folks have a terrific place here.

Jim

Thanks

Just a note to say thanks for running this site. I just started with GPS and in the process of looking for an informative site I came across
pio-factory which looks fantastic.

Have a safe and fun Thanksgiving too!

Hi mnorton,

Welcome to the site...

As a Nuvi owner, there’s a site created and maintained by one of our members, Gary Hayman, that’s invaluable for Nuvi owners.

It’s called:
Tricks, Tips, Work Arounds, Hints, Secrets and Ideas
for the Garmin nüvi GPS (and others).

Check it out...

I am new to this site as well, however not to the nuvi 660. I just gave my 660 to my son & bout a 780. (I hope I like it as well.) You will love the 660. I pack it on all my travels. It has been invaluable for me. wink wink wink
