how do you set the proximity alert on street pilot c5xx series? alerts are loaded and proximity alert box is checked in the setup
Poi Loader
When you used the Poi Loader did you do it in manual or express mode? You should have done it in manual and then it will give you an option to choose a speed or distance alert for each poi file. Click on the distance and choose how many feet you want.
Remember that every time you run the poi loader it will wipe out all previous loaded files, so you have to load all the files you want every time.
