Although I am an old mac user, last year when I started working with my Garmin, I used an old Windows laptop to work with my POI's and the icons. Now that I have a new Mac, I am using it with my POI's. Problem is, I can't figure out how to create and work with the icons. What program do we use on our Macs to work with the icons, to create, and then save them to work with our POI's?
Thank you
Deborah

Using Android Based GPS.The above post and my sig reflects my own opinions, expressed for the purpose of informing or inspiring, not commanding. Naturally, you are free to reject or embrace whatever you read.
So there is nothing that came w/the OS?
Nothing simple, that is already loaded in the Mac? What a shame. That is a first, Windows has something I wish my Mac had!
Thank you

save as a bmp
Am I able to save it as a bmp on my Mac? If not, what do I save it as so it works on the Garmin?

Try GraphicConverter
I use GraphicConverter. You can create an image in one format then just save it as bmp, or dozens of other formats as needed.
It can be found at:
