Roadmate 700 constantly losing signal

Hello, I have an older Magellan Roadmate 700 that has been working great. Last Friday, it started having trouble locking and maintaining a signal. I have a SATRAD that has been perfect the whole time my Magellan has been losing the signal, so I ruled out external influences. Is there some way of checking if the internal antennae is loose or something? Any suggestions? I already unplugged it to see if it just needed to be off for a bit.

Well, tech support was helpful, but none of their suggestions fixed it. They offered my a couple of opt9ions on a trade up or a refurb. It looks like I am going with a Roadmate 1430! They also said they would transfer my remaining 10 months of Traffic to the new unit. Overall they were very helpful.

It's always nice to hear a person get great treatment from a customer support rep, this one seems to have went the extra mile.
