Upgraded today from C340 to nuvi 650. It's pretty much unbelievable that neither unit allow you to alphabetize favorites or otherwise organize them. What was Garmin thinking? LOL
I did look at the unit's files and found that I couldn't get the GPX file open to read.
I had hoped that maybe there would be a way to put the fav's into an excel file to organize.
Has anyone found a way to do so?
The Favorites will be listed in order of proximity to your current position. The list will change as you move.
You cannot organize the Favorites on a nuvi currently.
You can always search by name.
Thanks for your input. Because I drive for a living, I will often look for a motel (saved by State, Interstate # and Exit #. From what you said, maybe I can search by State abbrev.
I will try as soon as I get on the road tomorrow.
Have a good day,
You can search for whatever you put in the name of the Waypoint.
Also, you might look into whether it makes sense to load them as Custom POIs as well. You can organize the Custom POIs to your liking.
