Bluetooth update recurring install

Does anybody know why this might happen? My Nuvi 660 has been periodically installing the Bluetooth update I had downloaded a while back. Not every time I turn it on, but intermittently. Of course when that happens I lose my settings and have to resync.

I believe that this is a firmware glitch and it's not really related to Bluetooth.
Try reloading your firmware.

same thing happened to my 760 always wanted to update the firmware and locked up. finally turned off bluetooth, as garmin wanted me to send it back.
