OK, I know there a bunch of smart folks on here. I'm not one of them. Can someone please tell me if it is possible to change specific colors on the Nuvi(760)? My goal is to enhance the 'alert' section. When I get an alert for a red light camera, the alert box is light grey and not attention getting. Unless I am looking at the unit or tuned to the FM broadcast, I miss the alert. I would like to change the text box to a flashing red one, or something else that would bring attention to the nuvi's display.
Thanks

Until one of them comes along, here's my offering

The 7xx series outputs a Grey banner for Proximity Alerts and a Red one (lower down the screen), for Speed Alerts. So, you could alter your Red Light Camera Alerts, to be a (say) 1mph Speed Alert instead.
The simplest way, is just to include the digit "1" in the filename. (Make sure you remove the keyword "Redlight", if present, as it is special - it overrides the digits).
You can have the alerts loaded both ways - as a kind of belt and braces approach (but there is a tendency for the Proximity Alert to 'win').
Here in the UK, all my Speed Camera alerts are loaded in this way - the idea being to always receive at least one warning, with continuous, urgent warnings if I continue to travel at some lunactic speed
That is the purpose of this (free) software:

which converts the input to .gpx, to give finer control of the parameters. Its focus is more on 'Speed' cameras than 'Redlight' cameras.
Also, there is the possibility of using Custom Audio, to get your attention.
BTW - redlight cameras are already marked by a huge Red light on a pole, or strung over the road, and are well worth watching out for
