How to add/change Voices for Nuvi 200? Impossible?

I keep hearing rave reviews of this Australian Karen voice -- how do you get the VPM file and load it onto the Nuvi 200 (Non-TTS)?

Does it matter if the voice file is TTS and the unit is not?

Or am I stuck with the basic preloaded and webupdater voices?

We really need that voice section!

Non-TTS models limited

I have a 200 and am pretty certain that we are stuck with the voices available through WebUpdater.

I have seen threads talk about methods of spliting those voice files into their component parts and creating your own, but haven't messed with that.

You use Webupdater to update the already loaded voices, but you go to your tools/locale settings to choose a different (already loaded) voice.

Nuvi 2XX voices

I have a nuvi 270.... it only seems to come with only one voice. If one goes to tools, and then settings, on my machine..... and then picks the only thing that seems reasonible: "Language", you see a choice of languages such as American English or British English.... not a choice of voices per se within each category. Thus I don't think the original question has been answered yet.

No, the answer was given in the first response. The nuvi 200 does not have the capability to use TTS voices.

I believe those are the only two non-TTS voices.
