Nashua NH - new Lowes, and a BJ's Wholesale Club

Hi. Whomever is the Keeper of these I have two sets of coordinates.

LOWES
-71 26.889'
42 43.593'
LOWE'S OF S. NASHUA, NH, #2391
143 DANIEL WEBSTER HIGHWAY
NASHUA, NH 03060
603-521-9950

BJ's Wholesale Club
-72 26.960'
42 43.678'
8 Sexton Ave.
Nashua, NH 03060

My husband is becoming accustomed to me driving into store parking lots and stopping up front to write down coordinates. He doesn't even make a comment anymore.
I told him it was for a good cause. smile

BJ's is updated also

When I researched the BJ's location I came up with a different set of coordinates so I used mine.
42.728845 -71.448457 was what I got. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=42.728845+-...

Your location of 42.727967, -72.449333‎Address:

+42° 43' 40.68", -72° 26' 57.60"
Put it here: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=42+43.678%2...

I checked the Lowe's location and it looks to be on the mark.

Miss POI

Miss POI

Awww, I am so sorry. I made the 71 into a 72....
Well, I have a problem with the pinky on my left hand, which has gone numb on me, and it hits lots of errors. I thought I was watching, but didn't catch the typo. Thankfully you did. I'll be more careful next time.

Miss POI, LAT/LON format

Just a quick question. I would like to use the format that is preferred for the POI files. Which one should I use?
Degrees/decimal minutes?

I prefer decimal but it really is easy to convert...

Because I always check the coordinates on google earth it is easier to copy and paste coordinates in their format... which is the opposite of the pois...

With my Google Earth Plus, I took the option to change the format for lat/lon to degrees, minutes w/decimal parts of the minute.

I thought that was making it consistant with POI format. But of course, I made a -1 degree typo error in typing the information. redface

Have new glasses coming, so hope this will stop the typo problem.

Coordinate preference in "Earth"

Google Earth allows you to change the coordinate format used in preferences. So you can make them match standard POI file format. Last time I checked, you didn't need to use "Plus" either, it worked fine with the standard free version.
