Driving to Panama

I wonder if it's possible to drive from the USA to Panama and what would be the roads you'd drive to do it. I'm not sure I want to undertake such a trip, but it is interesting to see how it would be done.
Drive to Panama
No Problem, The world basemap on the Garmin shows major highways. Pick up paper maps as you enter each country. There are lots of different ways you can go, depending on what parts of each country you want to visit. There is a Major highway that goes all the way.
Research
I would do plenty or research before taking a driving trip like that. I am sure there are plenty of do's and don'ts to be aware of that go well beyond information stored in your gps.
