I just bought my first gps, a nuvi 260 ,and would like to be able to find some long lost friends as we travel by typing in a city, and then a person's name without knowing the correct address and access a list of folks with that name. Is this possible? My screen only recognizes a typed in address.

Will not support looking up a person's name - only business names. You must know the street & number

Yeah, the map data (thankfully) does not contains people's names.
Google would be the way to try to do it.
