Need a pause button

I just got back from a trip and realize that a "Pause" button is needed while traveling. When I stop for a break, "Jack" gets upset and repeats "Recaculating" over and over! Really irrating. I know I could press stop and then go back to the destination, but a "Pause" button would be great. Then when you re-start, just press "Pause" again and you are back on the road. I do plan on changing the "Recaculation" voice to something else.

Why not just turn the unit off and then turn it back on when you are done with your break?

You can turn the volumn down or use the mute button also.

The only problem with just changing "Recalculating" to anything else, is going to be just as annoying to you I'm sure. I agree with MM just turn off your unit and when you return, turn it back on, and then continue where you left off.

Recalculating
If you decide to just stop on short notice not much you can do about recalculating.You may already be aware of it but when travelling my wife and I usually while on the road just add the rest stop in or the restaurant.When you hit go it gives you the option to add to current route with no recalculating.
