Enabling POI File

Do I have to enable the new POI file(s) each time I turn on my gps? I have the Costco 1412. If I have to enable each file every time I turn it on it wouldn't seem to be worth the effort.

You should be able to go to POI's, enhanced, and then select your POI to load everytime. Not familar with the 1412, but should be similar to other Magellan's.

That wording is a little...... unfortunate.
I too am assuming but on the 2 Magellan's I have had, you select them once and they stay ON until you visit them again and deselect them.

Yes, you're right. I should have stated it as "You should be able to go to POI's, enhanced, and then select your POI. It will load everytime after that".
