does anyone know of a way to add the right icon to magellan poi files?

I've been looking out on the web and it seems like there's no way to do it but I would like to be sure.

You have to change them with the POI Editor, there's no way to import a custom icon as yet.

ugh...

oh well I guess that's what I get for getting a magellan gps.. I got a maestro 4250 because I thought magellan was good.

I love my 4210 and the fact I can't add icons isn't a big detraction, it's a very good unit. At $200, it has more than paid for itself on my last 3000km trip.

If you're so unhappy with it, perhaps you should return it. Just a thought...
