Garmin/Onstar conflict?

My wife had my Nuvi 760 and has Onstar (personal calling). Anyways, I called her and was talking and she told me the Nuvi went bonkers... I have the TourGuide setup with alerts and the alert was going sounding over and over.. I relegated to a conflict with frequencies...
I called her on the cell phone while the NUVI was on and all was fine.. Thoughts?

Multiple alerts

I can't see how they would conflict but......
As far as alerts on the 760 repeating - I had that problem with red light alerts and I discovered it was my fault. I had set the alert manually and, because the file has "red light" in the name, the unit was assigning a default alert as well. The default alert went off at a pre-set distance and my alert was going off at the distance I had set which resulted in multiple (and extremely annoying) alerts. I re-uploaded the file to my unit and didn't set any custom alerts and now the unit works properly.
Could this be the issue your wife experienced?

I have Onstar and have used it while my C550 was taking me on a route. It did not cause a conflict...
