The 4500 Wisconsin Ave NW, Washington, DC location coordinates should be:

38.948377,-77.08032

instead of

39.035159, -77.049123

Otherwise, it places it a few miles northeast of where it should be.

I have sent a message over to the project manager so he can update the file.

A suggestion for an update to an existing store

the store at:
901 South Coast Drive,
Costa Mesa, CA

The coordinates are acurate for the address BUT ...this is a big plaza, with 2 sections, and a really pain in the butt to navigate partking structure in between.

For the Best Buy, i really suggest the Bear St. entrance, not the South Coast Drive entrance:

If you look up that location, you'll see its a driveway, and the building its next to contains the Best Buy and The Container Store, and you'll seee the parking structure...between the best buy and the south coast drive entrance at :

That parking area is much more of a pain to navigate than it looks like from above..

Any one has a POI of all Best Buy in Canada/

The Opelika, AL location was apparently "batch processed" because the posted coordinates are located in the middle of a medical park approximately 1.5 miles north of the actual location of the store.

The correct information is as follows:

I live in the area and the name, address, phone, and coordinates were taken from my nuvi 255 as programmed by Garmin/Navteq.

The coordinates are on the nearest named road, approximately 250-300 feet from the store. The store is clearly visible from this location.

NOTE: For the record, Opelika, AL is immediately adjacent to Auburn, AL, the home of the Auburn University Tigers football team, the reigning BCS Champions.

You can see the influence of the University and the football team reflected in the name of the shopping center, "Tiger Town". It is also reflected in the fact that Best Buy refers to the store as "Best Buy Auburn", even though the store is located in Opelika, approximately 5 miles east of the University.

I am updating the file. It will take a while because I am going through it state by state. The locater on the site is not user friendly. I have found a fair amount of both duplicates and missing locations.

I am also cleaning up the addresses so they formatted better.

I have just uploaded a up to date file. I suspect some location errors, so I welcome the changes.

I had to go through the file state by state for the changes. I used EPE as the main source. I did some verification with Google maps.

I also verified that it would load with POI Loader version 2.6.0 using my nuvi 1350.

I can't believe I missed the state. Thanks it has been updated.

Also added a location from Shrifty and corrected one from Nats50.

I have updated this file. I have added 308 locations. Some were new stores and some were ones I missed previously. Most are the Mobile Electronics stores (as denoted in the name).
I have added missing info that was in some locations.
This was a major update on the file because I went through every state in hopes of getting it to be 100%.

Thanks to "blake7mstr" I have updated coordinates for a store in Riverdale UT that moved down the street in late June.
