My handsfree bluetooth displays my name and number when paired to my blackberry. However my blackberry is programmed not to show this information. I don't want this information to show on my Nuvi. Any suggestions would bemost helpful

The setting on your Blackberry refers to Caller ID on outgoing calls, I think. I don't think you can control what shows on the Nuvi. I'm not sure why you would care. Both only work when they are in your possession, so it's not a security issue.

Maybe I didn't explain my self clearly enough. When I call from my Nuvi the recipient sees my name and number on their caller id. The nuvi is paired with my blackberry curve. When I call on my blacknerry curve to an individual who has caller id it shows up as private number without revealing my name and phone number. Does this make a little better sense?

Yeah, that makes sense. And you're right. That stinks if the Nuvi is overriding your outgoing Caller ID setting.
