We are seeing a lot of new members on these forums. I think it is great. They all have one thing in common. They all found, stumbled upon, found a link, etc. to the POI factory. I think that I saw a link on a review of GPSs, on line. I have told my friends by word of mouth.
I love to read the back of menus and learn the history of where I am eating. so I would love to know the background of The POI Factory.

my son sent me the link to the site.
Twin Brother?
I was in Honolulu, Hawaii last summer. I had just bought my Nuvi750 from Best Buy. I had decided to take it on my trip to Hawaii.(short version)
When I asked this question back in June of 08, I think that your twin brother had an answer very much like the one that was posted on 3/23/10. I think he has a dog?
Paul..... Nuvi 765T
From nuviforums
Was looking for POIs when the Nuvi first came out and I realized that the Nuvi maps were missing things like the local Frys Electronics. Paid $750 (aargh!!!) for the Nuvi 350 back then which is sill going strong...

It's almost geocaching season again in the upper Midwest, so I knew it was time to return to POI Factory to update the files on my Garmin VistaHCx. Nothing like getting ice cream between caches on a hot summer day.

I can't remember
I cannot remember how I came to know about POI Factory but I am certainly happy that I did, not only for the cameras but also the wealth of information shared by the subscribers. I got my brother in law to join and my brother is purchasing a Garmin for his new car (rather than the built-in that he had before) and intends to join also. Keep renewing your subscription and refer the site to others.

Searching...
I was searching for POI's for Dunking Donuts and Starbucks. I found a link to this site as well as another site loaded with POI's. Until recently, I was not very active here so I just got my Windmill the other day. However, back in March I purchased a 765T and started having various issues. That brought me back here.

A friend at work told me about the site. It was brought up when talking about red light cameras because the Chicago area has a lot of them.
