download voices for garmin 680?

hi i just got a garmin 680 yesterday and was wondering is there anyway to get different voice prompts for that unit like celebs or tv characters etc.?

You can change the person who speaks it. Settings -> Locale -> Press on the rectangle under American Language -> There there is a list of different voices (Not celebs or tv characters)

Yes you can get them
Go to garmin's web site and get the web updater. It's available with instructions for using it here http://www8.garmin.com/products/webupdater/howtoinstall.jsp
There should be additional voices available as part of the updates.
Also, since you just bought your unit, register your unit with Garmin and they should give you the 2009 maps that were just released. Have Fun.

Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.
