How do I set a POI alert in miles rather than yards?
Also, is it possible to have multiple alert distances for the same POI? (e.g. set alert distance at 10 miles and again at 1 mile)

I have no experience with your specific unit but some things are pretty universal and I think this is probably one of them.
I'm pretty sure that YOU are going to have to do the conversion. 1,760 yards to the mile.
There probably is a MAX. for the alert setting.....maybe 2000 or 3000 yards. My Magellan will alert once or twice WITHIN the range you set ....automatically.

POI Alert more than once
If you want two alerts, make two Category (POI) files (pocy the orignal and give it a differrent name) and set one at Close (in yards) and the other at Far Away (in yards), you will need two BMPs also, remember. Each named the same as the category.
