Hi Everyone:
I'm a newbie into this awesome forum and require your kind help to convert this .CSV file (http://www.poi-factory.com/filemanager/active?fid=6453) into TomTom .OV2 format.
I've tried all my means (POIEdit and other converters) to convert this file but failed.
If someone has the corresponding .OV2 file (TomTom) for Petro-Canada locations and could please upload then it would be highly appreciated.
Thanks & best regards,
Morrison Z.
You can do it!
.ov2 files for the TomTom can have only 3 columns of info, in that particular .csv (as in most) you have 4 columns. My advice, delete the last column and try converting it again, it should work.

Mike: Thanx for your response
Hi Mike:
Thanks a bunch for your reply mate.
I wanted to keep the address & category details on the fourth column of the .CSV file. But it seems this column is the root-cause of error while converting it into .OV2
Since I don't have any alternative I would delete the 4th column and try to save this.
Thanks again for your response.

...add the contents of column 4 into column 3, but then you'd have to do some editing. If you've got the patience and the time go for it!

Mike: I tried but it didn't work
Hi Mike,
I'd deleted column#3 and then had column#4 in its place and removed the equal (=) signs that show on MS-Excel and then tried to save it. But POIEdit would give an error message "No valid floating point on line#1"
I've read discussion of other forum-users on similar topic and tried to find out the box-like special character but it doesn't show in MS-Excel particulary in this file (http://www.poi-factory.com/filemanager/active?fid=6453)
Thanks a lot for you kind response. I could at least save it into OV2 following your nice suggestions.
Best regards,
MZ
