Can't get c330 splash screen to work

I have a c330 as well and I can't for the life of me get it to work. I took a jpeg photo, resized it using infranview, opened it in Paint and saved it in a file as a .bmp 24 bit than went to the xImage and get an error that it can't copy images over.
However I can copy screen shots to the computer.

Exactly 320 x 240???

First, make sure the picture is exactly 320 x 240 pixels (assuming that is the screen size of the c330). Also, the file name has to be exactly the same as the original splash screen file (after you download it from your c330 using xImage). On the c340, the file name is "Splash Screen.bmp" (with a space between Splash and Screen).
If you've already double-checked those items, and your 24-bit bmp file is 226 KB in size (which should hopefully indicate that you saved the file with the correct palette and color depth), then my only thought is that there's something weird about the file you selected.
Since you and I are not using the same GPS model, be sure to analyze (and match) the specific properties of the splash screen file you originally downloaded from the c330.

Thank you for your help! I got it to work! I had 2 things wrong, file name and image size. Thank you! Now I need to upload the file to POI Factory.
