Uploading POI's to the C330

OK, I'm an idiot. Now that I've gotten that out of the way, I have attempted to upload several POI files directly. Even with a file as small as 72K, I still get a message that there is not enough room in the GPS to upload. Surely this can't be right. What am I doing wrong? Thanks much, in advance.
you Need to read a few things to smooth the way
click on "Getting started" at the top of the page. The third item is how to put POI's on your GPS.
You will have to go to Garmin.com and download the POI loader to your computer; then using the loader put them on your GPS.
There will also be directions on how to set up a file directory for your POIs's

Have you tried creating a single location POI and seeing if that will load.

Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.
Problem Solved
For whatever reason, the software didn't like the directory I'd created. Did a new one and all is well. Thanks for the help.
