Correction for Co-op ATMs

First much thanks to ejodoin for gathering the Co-op ATM list!

I did see five bad locations nearby (I'm guessing there may be others).

1) Line 19554 has CU Family Service Centers which is showing up in NY when the address is in MI.

2) Line 19854 is same data as the line 19554 with a slight different Lat,long which is still in NY so it can be deleted.

3) Line 19682 has Ukrainian Self Reliance Michigan FCU in NY. Again this is just a latitude typo.

4) Line 19136 Ukrainian Future CU has a MI address and is shown in NY.

5) Line 19685 7-Eleven with a MI address shown in NY.

I looked at bunch of the POIs that are near by and compared them to the website locator.

Finally there were lots of odd ASCII characters in this POI which caused problems when converting to a GPX. Search for "Macy" and the first hit has 3 odd ASCII characters afterwards when using a hex editor. I ran the POI file through an Excel filter which only allows numbers, letters and symbols. Then I was able to convert it to GPX.

I have not gotten a response from ejodoin. Could you please contact him. If we don't hear from ejodoin after another week. I'll make the corrections to the Co-op ATM POI.

Great. No problem or rush. Much thanks for the effort creating the POI. I just wanted to make sure someone was going to look at these.

I'm just glad you posted the list. I was hoping to get a list from the co-op ATM website maintainer, but they have never responded.

Can you point out the Funny ascii error?

I have updated the bad coordinates. However, I cannot seem to find the funny ASCII characters you are talking about. I am using Notepad which may be part of the problem but I'm not sure. Too much of a noob still I suppose... Can you give me a line number for the offending ASCII and I'll investigate further?

This is the first one I noticed. I just run your file through an ASAP find and replace in Excel. I set it up just to takes any non-character/number and replace it with a space. This cleans up the odd ASCII characters like ’.

See http://www.asap-utilities.com for the free download for Excel. From the ASAP Utilities menu I pick 8.Text --> 14. Advanced character replace/removal...
