adding icons to preloaded POI

I was wondering if there was a way to add the icons from this site onto my unit for poi's that are preloaded from the factory (ex: the speedway gas stations)

No you can't add custom icon's to preloaded factory poi's. You can add custom icon's to custom poi's that you download or create. You may want to check this thread out http://www.poi-factory.com/node/6661
