Changing voice and proximity audio alert

Three questions:
1) I believe I read somewhere that you can select the type of voice you want to tell you to "turn right on Elm Street." Can I change the voice so it is a man or woman or something else? HOW? I am a real newby. I opened the box 1 hour ago. 
2) Ho do I change the proximity alert icon for speed cameras? How do I change the audible announcement also. I down loaded some sounds from your web page? Again I am a real newby. I copied them to a 2Gb SD card. Do they need to be in specially named folders?
3) In what folder do I put pictures and music? WHat is the file structure under the garmin main folder?
