Playing with my nuvi 200 around my area I notice that it's telling me to turn about 10-15 seconds too late. I know the roads I'm on and just playin' around. And the unit tells me to turn after I've already turned. Any ideas why the lag? Thanks
more info please
Does it only happens ant this particular road or is the unit slow at every turn?
If it is only at this road the problem most likely is satellite coverage in that particular area or bad mapping for that area.
If it does that all the time it could be just a matter of downloading the latest firmware.

Thanks
Thanks I did just update my software. I'll check it out tomorrow. And it is an all the time issue btw. Oh it's a nuvi 200 forgot to mention that. Thanks.

lets see
You mentioned that it is an all time issue, if updating the software doesn't do the trick then it could be a deffective unit but it could also be your vehicle's windshield, so before calling Garmin for service you may want to try it in a different vehicle.
Lets hope the software update clears the problem.

Seems to work better
I've done two things. One, updated software and two picked a different area on the windshield. Works as it should now. So one or both of the corrections have done the trick. Thanks, Jeff
