Delayed ring for outgoing calls

I use my nuvi 660 as a speaker for my cell phone through Bluetooth. In about 50% of the outgoing calls I make, after I press the call button on my cell or the the Dial button on the nuvi screen, I hear no ringing on the other end, and the first sound I hear is when the person picks up the call. It's not a major problem, other than the fact that sometimes, I'm in my car wondering whether the call is going through or not, because I can;t hear the ringing.
Does that happen to anyone else? If so, any suggestions?

This happens to me as well with both the Nuvi and my Motorola bluetooth headset. It's because something near you is running interference with the bluetooth signal. In my area where I live there are SEVERAL bluetooth holes (for lack of a better word) where the bluetooth acts funky.

I thought one of the updates addressed improved ring, but I could not find it anywhere I looked. Maybe someone has better memory or resource that could help. If you don't have the most current update, that might be a place to start.

I heard the new bluetooth
I heard the new bluetooth update broke some phone connections?! I did NOT install the new update for the bluetooth on my Nuvi. I find it acts the same as my headset so I must assume it's not the Nuvi and rather the bluetooth itself.

I did the Bluetooth update on both the 660 and 760 and have not had any problems pairing 3 phones to the 660 and 4 phones to the 760. My iPhone had trouble keeping the Bluetooth connection, but that was an iPhone issue that was corrected with an update from Apple.

Well, things work good here
Well, things work good here now so I don't see the need for the bluetooth update, if down the road I update my cell phone at that point I may update the bluetooth on my Nuvi. It it ain't broke don't fix it is my motto! (LOL)
