City Navigator maps require unlock codes.
Mine...
did not need any code(s). Put it in, and it worked like a champ!

Was City Navigator Europe NT 2008 DVD. But Auction is already over..lol They didnt mention an unlocking code so I didnt want to bid without knowing. Thanks anyway. I think maybe the media card ones come without having to unlock but thought maybe the dvd's did require it.

Just bought the Garmin City Navigator NT, Europe v9 DVD and had to go through the unlock process to install it on my GPS.

SD cards don't require unlock codes because the maps are locked to the card.
