Why

Why in the world would I want games on my GPS ?

Do people check dates prior to responding?

So, Steve620 replied to a thread that is almost 8 years old. Something for the moderators to consider would be a pop-up that alerts the user to the “age” of a thread. Or automatically “lock” threads of a certain age, say 5 years.

I never understood why

I never understood why revitalizing an old thread is a bother to some folks.

I'd rather a necro-thread be brought back to life with new information instead of having 10 threads on the same topic if one was to use the search feature looking for a specific topic, although Steve620 really didn't add to the conversation in this case.

....the content is all too often way out of date. Should a valid reason exist for a question, then more current info might prove more beneficial. In addition, this particular topic "Gaames on your Nuvi" appeared in the Popular Content area, and likely only because of the reply (to the old thread) by Steve620.

About the only time my gps is on is when its navigating or i'm prepping it for a trip. Don't we have cell phones for games now?
