I'm tring to load icons and sound alerts to my gps but they haven't seemed to load. any ideas? the red light locations worked.

As for Sound
The Nuvi 250W wont play sound files.
The Icons will work with your custom poi as long as they are named the same. Example: autorepair.csv and for icon autorepair.bmp
Try it out.

Yes, and double check to be sure that you don't have double file extensions. Make sure your file extensions are not hidden.
