I recently bought this unit and am really happy with it, the only area I am in doubt about is the sd card slot. I know the O/S and everything is stored on the tomtom itself. Does anyone know how i can take advantage of this feature
Thanks
Jim
You can try this
From what I understand (TT One NE user) you can use the slot with a card (2gig) as long as you have the map(s) and POI's loaded on it. If you put a card in the slot the unit reads the data from the card; take the card out and it goes back to using the internal memory of the One.
My One NE relies solely on the card - if I take it out of the slot the unit will not boot.
