Saving a current location

Can you save a current location to "Custom POI" instead of Favorites?
After thinking about this the Custom POI file system with sub files would probably get difficult.....?

Not that difficult
I usually save the local temporary POIs to Favorite and my permanent Family and Friends in distant cities to POIs files.
I created a folder in the PC and called it Family & Friends, then created two files one a family.csv and one friends.csv, when you upload that to the GPSr it will have a tab for Family & Friends and under that two tabs one for Family and another for Friends.

To answer your question, you can not save the location to the custom poi section. That file is a gpi file created by the poi loader. But I find the subfolder idea easy to use.
