Cameras will go up Monday at two more Columbus intersections to ticket motorists who run red lights.
Warning letters will go out for 30 days. After that, $95 tickets will be mailed to people who run red lights at the intersection of S. 3rd and E. Main streets and Central and Sullivant avenues.
The intersections are the 16th and 17th to receive cameras since March 2006.
Since then, 37,002 tickets have been issued, police spokeswoman Amanda Ford said.
Crashes caused by motorists who run red lights have gone down at almost every intersection where a camera has been installed, she said.
