Excuse me for sounding ignorant, but i am new to the GPS user end of things and i have been looking over the POI. What exactly do i do with them if i download a POI file and what exactly does it do? Thanks

See those words at the right top of the page called "getting started" and "faq". Best place to start. Read these and should answer all you questions. smile

In short, this is what POIs

In short, this is what POIs do for me...

1) Most of the time, more current then internal POIs
2) Have all my personal interests in one place.
3) Have it act like a contact list for my friends, coworkers, etc.
