downloading problems

Hi folks, This is my 1st post and it's a question that has maybe already been discussed before but I'll ask it anyway. When I try to download a file like 'California State Parks' my computer says it doesn't recognize the CSV file and Can't open it,any suggestions?

.

Instead of trying to open the file, save it to your computer first. Then open either Notepad or Excel and open the file from inside one of those programs.

Free Excel replacement

If you don't want to buy a spreadsheet, You can always use 'Calc' in OpenOffice. It's Open Source, therefore free, and available (with all the other office-type apps) at http://www.openoffice.org/

It will load and save Excel format and CSV.
