Does Nuvi760 speaks the names of the roads when navigation?

Then why mine does not? It would, for example, tell me to turn right after xx miles, but it would not tell me the name of the street that I should turn to.
Any advice?

Change voice to TTS

Go to Locale and change voice to Jack or Jill with TTS (Text To Speech).

On the 660 I have to choose the voice that has a (TTS) at the end of the name. I have lots of voices, but only those say the street names.

can some one download a

can some one download a better voice that has (TTS)?
The quality of sound for TTS voices in the unit is so bad, not like the standard American English one.

I use the Australian Karen

I use the Australian Karen voice with American English. Works well enough for me, although she pronounces things funny sometimes. Oh well, that's what the text bar is for...
