I just got back from china and miss my cold drinks.. (Wink) I am here for a while and gonna start getting back into the swing of things.. I know, I was silence for a while, No POI files and for Miss POI, No ICONS... But I am back and going to be starting stuff up once again.. missed it - have fun doing stuff for this place.. Maybe a POI to show where you can go to home for Xmas decorations or something.. Who know..

since we have cell phones and GPSs and such... does one really need a C-B radio?

Now CB radios. There is a dating yourself statement. I got rid of my last CB back in the early 90's at a garage sale. It had been sitting in my garage lost and lonely for years so I tried to give it a new home.

I still use one!! still alot out there!! I use it for location of the "Wrappers" and "chicken coops".. etc.. also to keep in touch with others

If you've ever driven the 75-100 mile stretches of Interstate highways WITHOUT cell phone service ( e.g. I-70 in Utah from Green River to Richfield ), you'll know why a CB is still a good tool. and it's a bit of fun just listening to the chatter.

I keep a portable CB (plugs into outlet) in the car
strictly to listen for road conditions should I hit some and to listen for reports when traffic gets stopped on the interstates for whatever reason. Helps me decide to see how good "Lila's" detours can be !

I personally have given up on my CB radio and have earned my amateur radio license.

MT, tell me you don't monitor 27.1850 mHz on the the mobile HF rig!

Ahh the Griswold family Christmas. It's one of our family traditions to watch this movie. Usually when we've had a stressful day, it get's put in the DVD player and you just can't help but laugh.

We have Patriots season tickets, but the game I would have liked to go to is next Sunday, an away game. The Colts vs. the Pats or Manning vs. Brady. I think the Pats may end their winning streak to these guys. They are a tough team to beat. If the Pat's make it to the Super Bowl we get to go!

Red Sox Rolling Rally tomorrow at noon. Drop Kick Murphy's on a float, Pappelbon doing his Irish Jig that he promised "The Nation", it's going to be good.

I am going to dress as a woman (princess custome borrowed from my daughter) with a sign that has a GPSr and it says, "CONFUSED!!! Which way do I go"

OK, I might every once in awhile while driving down the interstate. But I'm finding alot more truckers are going HAM.

OK - How many people have been messed up by the change in dates for DST??? Say like PDA, etc.

Last spring, yes. But the fix I've done the last time seems to have worked for the fall change over.

Yesterday my wife said her dumb a-s boss with his PDA in hand was giving her a hard time for scheduling a meeting for 7:30 am and he had to come in early.

I have a cb still in 1973 442. Very little activity any more.

There is a lot on the busy interstates. I would have soooooo many tickets if it wasn't for the CB. However, I don't use it when daughter is in the car, it has gotten pretty bad as far as content and language.

There use to be pirates. Now, there's truckers!

I keep my CB mounted in the trash can!

My old CB went out in a garage sale but it would be nice to have while sitting on the Interstate wanting to know what the hold up is. Sitting for an hour while a wreck is cleared getting a progress report from a trucker with a visual helps the time go by.

Hey Asianfire, I think your sign should say "Recalculating". After all you are going from a man to a princess. That is some recalculating feat for anyones brain.

You do realize, of course, that coffee with cream and sugar does more damage to the keyboard than black coffee.

Jon is always asking me if I would like to add some coffee to my cream and sugar, he thinks it is way too sweet.

That is why you have backup keyboards! I have about 4 at home and two at work.

I use a laptop;)

Listen to some so called experts and the only thing you should drink is water and algae juice.
