Garmin mail me to upgrade my c320

I got e=mail from garmin to upgrade my c320, but when i do a lot of step by step, finally they show me the message , anyone know what happen:
Thank you for your reply. I am sorry but it appears that you are on a denial list with the Federal government and we can not ship anything to you, it is against the law while you are on this list. If you choose to purchase the map update you will need to go through a dealer near you. Most map updates can be located at any Best Buy or Circuit City .

I'd contact Garmin and find out what type of 'Denial List' they're referring to. There are several list types, including (but not limited to) the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) and Technology Export Control. It appears you need more info. Good luck.

You aren't going to get it for free anyway based on when you purchased your unit so you might as well go to Best Buy or Circuit City and buy it there.

When (month and year) did you purchase your GPS unit?
Don't know about the Fed list. Never heard of it. Perhaps you could ask Garmin the source of the list. Perhaps the list is confusing your name with someone else name.

Like I mentioned above, the Feds have several lists. If you want your name removed, you'll have to find out which list you're on (possibly Garmin can tell you) and then attempt to get it removed.
