Deleting just favorites????

I am the proud owner of a Nuvi 360. For some reason I have a ton of "favorites", and can't delete them w/o deleting all my custom POI's, or doing them one at a time, which would be a real time burner. Does anyone know how to do this? Is there a way it can be done through getting rid of a certain file?

You can use MapSource to

You can use MapSource to manage all your favorites. Keep in mind that MapSource relates to Favorites as Waypoints. Once you downloaded your waypoints to MapSource. Delete as you wish and re-upload the changes. It also great for backing up your favorites, you never know right?

If you don’t have MapSource call Garmin and let them know your looking to manage your waypoints. In most cases it will be sent to you free of charge.

You can clear all personal data

Check your manual. If you hold on the lower right corner while turning on your GPS, if will ask you to clear personal data.

Ok, try this... save a copy

Ok, try this...

save a copy the the gpx file on your computer from the gps. Delete all personal data, then after removing the enteries that you don't want in the gpx file, put it back on the garmin. Then when rebooted, garmin will search for all gpx files and create a new one with just the enteries that you want.

Yuo can open the gpx file in POI Edit.

Actually, the current.gpx is more of a "backup" of your favorites. Even if you delete it, they are still there.
