POI for PDA/mobile GPS

Hi there ..
Further to the revolution in mobile phone gps .. Do any of you have an idea if its possible to upload custom poi to nokia N95 or 6610 navigator ..??? what about the PDA ..??

None of the present GPS/Phone applications I know of

Are capable of custom POI lists...the Smart-phone-PDAs/Blakeberry is another story - Blackberry has a Telenav application that many cell phone providers support, and I've seen Garmin is coming out with a product on a memory card for some smart phones that will continue to function independent of the cell phone network - some of the current applications are dependent on the phone provider to function.

Personally, I would rather

Personally, I would rather keep the two separate, so if one breaks, gets stolen, or lost, the other isn't gone either. I always kept my phone and PDA separate.

Not only can the phones (according to keith) not do POIs, but how is the screen? I would think that they would be a bit small. Would be cool if you were in a park and had the cell with you or something like that, but I personally wouldn't (and I could be wrong) that they would be much good for every day travel in a car.

Sorta like, I would give up my computer because I can do email on my phone, but I would use my phone in emergencies or once in awhile.

I'm with you...

When it comes to some of the things going on with technology - just because it's possible, it does not mean you should do it....like all the stuff they are cramming into cell phones these days...
